Learn to develop a beautiful, natural, almost labor-free landscape and at the same time, keep our wild spaces healthy for birds, fish and other wildlife. Curriculum includes criteria for encouraging desired wildlife to your yard and discouraging unwanted wildlife, tips on developing healthy soil, identifying and propagating native plants appropriate for your property, beneficial insects, alternatives to pesticides and lawns, and creation of water features for wildlife. Bird, butterfly and native plant identification will also be addressed.
